India and Australia will take on each other in a virtual final in the third and final T20 of the three-match series at Hyderabad on Friday. David Warner-led Australia roared back in form in the second T20 in Guwahati, after having lost the first match in Ranchi, to level the series 1-1. When the T20 International series with Australia began after India had claimed the ODIs 4-1, it was assumed that they would walk away with the honours in the shortest version as well. However, Australia had other plans. India will be itching to bounce back from the thrashing they received in Guwahati. Despite the recent success India have had over Australia, Virat Kohli has maintained that the visitors were always tough to beat. (Live Scorecard)

With the thumping eight-wicket win over the hosts on Tuesday, Australia will go into series-decider with some serious momentum. India had a forgettable day at Guawahati in all departments after they lost the all-important toss. The highly-rated batsmen were found wanting against the swinging ball with rookie Australian pacer Jason Behrendorff doing the bulk of the damage. Captain Kohli was out for a rare duck and he, along with the rest of the batting line-up, would be eager to make amends.
